Iggy Sweeney, Owner
Growing up in Miami during the 80s and 90s, I was deeply influenced by the booming street art scene, which showcased graffiti, Art Deco, and realism. This exposure inspired me to pursue my own artistic path, leading me to apply to the Columbus College of Art and Design in 1991. After receiving a scholarship, I began my art career and secured a tattoo apprenticeship at Viking Tattoo in 1994, one of the first premier tattoo studios in Columbus, where I learned the importance of work ethic, creativity, and customer care.
Over my 25-year career, I've focused on realism, fine art, and portraiture, while also appreciating every style of tattooing. I'm grateful to be part of an art form that has grown so much during my journey. I look forward to continuing to serve past, present, and future clients at Aion Tattoo, offering the same high-quality care that Columbus has come to expect from me.
