Dorian Lafferre (He/Him)
Born and raised in Columbus, I've been drawing my whole life, starting with recreating Goosebumps book covers in kindergarten. After earning an illustration degree from Columbus College of Art and Design, I worked in freelance design, corporate branding, and hand-painted signage.
In the Spring of 2020, I had the chance to apprentice under Iggy Sweeney at Aion Tattoo, just as the COVID-19 pandemic hit. My apprenticeship began with research, creating tattoo artwork, and meeting weekly over Zoom while working part-time in a grocery store. As shops reopened, I took on roles like shop manager before advancing to tattooing clients in 2022. This career has reignited my passion for creating unique art, and I’m excited to bring my skills to your next tattoo project!
